เมื่อวันที่ 1 มกราคม 2550 ที่ผ่านมา กอบัวและพี่น้อง ๆ ได้ร่วมกันทำบุญเลี่ยงพระที่บ้าน เพราะต้องการให้คุณพ่อซึ่งอายุมากแล้ว ได้ทำบุญ ฟังธรรม ถวายของพระ ตอนแรกก็ไม่ยอมบอกยุ่งยาก แต่ลูก ๆ ก็บอกว่า อยากทำให้พ่อ เพื่อความสบายใจ ความเป็นสิริมงคลของครอบครัวของเรา พ่อก็ฟัง คุณพ่อป่วยอยู่ โดยปรกติจะนอนมากกว่านั่ง บ่นเจ็บน่าอก เพราะทำบอลลูนมา 2 เส้น พอเวลาพระมาที่บ้าน คุณพ่อปิติมาก ก็ได้จัดโต๊ะให้คุณพ่อนั่งใกล้พระทำพิธี คุณพ่อบอกว่า นั่งสูงกว่าพระได้หรือ พระอาจารย์จึงกล่าวว่าพระอนุญาตให้โยมนั่งเก้าอี้ได้ เพราะโยมป่วย ซึ่งพระทุกคนรู้จักคุณพ่อเป็นอย่างดี เพราะว่าคุณพ่อเป็นมัคทายกของวัดนี้มา 40 กว่าปี เป็นจนอายุ 82 ได้ล้มป่วยจงไม่ได้ไปวัด วันนี้คุณพ่อดูสุขภาพดีมาก กล่าวคือ สามารถนั่งฟังพระสวด และเลี้ยงพระจนเสร็จพิธี โดยไม่ขอนอนพัก ลูก ๆ ก็เฝ้าดูอยู่ไม่ห่าง การทำบุญครั้งนี้ มีอานิสงมากทำให้คุณพ่อดูแข็งแรง กอบัวปิติมาก ท่านสามารถพูดคุ่ยกับญาติๆ ลูกหลานที่มาอวยพร ท่านเป็นทั้งคุณปู่ /คุณตา/คุณตาทวด คุณพ่อก็ขอบ อกบอบใจลูก ๆ หลานและให้ศีลให้พร จนแขกลากลับ จึงขอเอนหลังก็เกือบจะบ่าย 2 โมง ลูก ๆก็สบายใจดี

สมาธิ ในความหมายของพจนานุกรม แปลว่า ที่ตั้งมั่นแห่งจิต แต่สมาธิในความหมายของการฝึกปฏิบัติ คือการทำใจให้นิ่ง ซึ่งต่างจากร่างกายที่ยิ่งเคลื่อนไหวยิ่งแข็งแรง แต่จิตใจนั้นตรงกันข้าม คือจิตใจหวั่นไหวย่อมอ่อนแอ แต่หากหยุดนิ่งเฉยได้แล้วจะยิ่งมีพลัง เหมือนการรวมโฟกัสของแสงให้เป็นจุดเดียวกัน ย่อมมีพลังที่จะจุดไฟให้ติดได้
การทำสมาธิมีปรากฏในหลายศาสนา ซึ่งรวมถึง พุทธศาสนา ฮินดู และ เต๋า และยังคงรวมถึงสิ่งที่ไม่เกี่ยวกับศาสนา เช่น โยคะ

การยืนเฉพาะหน้าผู้ใหญ่ ถ้าไม่จำเป็นไม่ควรยืนตรงหน้าผู้ใหญ่ แต่ควรยืนเอียงไปทางใดทางหนึ่ง ดังนี้คือ ยืนตรง ขาชิดปลายเท้าห่างกันเล็กน้อย มือทั้งสองแนบชิดข้าง ท่าทางสำรวม การประสานมือทำได้ ๒ วิธี ๑. คว่ำมือซ้อนกัน จะเป็นมือไหนทับมือไหนก็ได้ ๒. หงายมือทั้ง ๒ สอดนิ้วเข้าระหว่างช่องนิ้วของแต่ละนิ้ว
